Preschool Program

Full Day Preschool

A typical day at Woodland Melody starts with morning circle and songs. We follow up with free play which can be anything from playing in the mud kitchen to den building, to going on a child led scavenger hunt. We provide a healthy morning snack from what we grow at our school when available but always  nutritious  when we have to source it elsewhere. After snack we go on a teacher led hike to gather ingredients for our mud kitchen, talk about local flora and fauna and pick our topics of interest to study for the week.

As part of our study's and exploration we incorporate all necessary kindergarten readiness. We build language and math skills. Early reading comprehension and an strong set of critical thinking skills.

Throughout the day we learn based on what is happening around us. Each day is different from the day before and opportunities to explore are endless.

We provide a health lunch around noon and have story time before we rest. 

​

After our afternoon nap we provide a snack and then have free exploration and one on one learning opportunities  until pick up.

​

Our preschool programs run from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm

Immidiate and fall slots are open.

​8-4pm 5 days $1250

​7-5 pm 5 days  $1350

Drop in rate is $70 per day.

These are our full-time rates. For 2,3, or 4 day care please call for rates and availability.
